Ford Motor Company Model T (1909-1927) first motor vehicle succussfully mass-produced on an assembly line!

"I will build a car for the great multitude.
It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for.

It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired,
after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise.

But it will be low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one -
and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God's great open spaces."

Henry Ford
1863-1947

The late Boyd Needham, Lakewood California, previously owned this 1923 Ford Model T Coupe.

The interior is all original and the body was painted 30 years ago by Boyd himself
inside the L-shaped garage at his home.

I had the privilege of meeting Boyd and his family as I was introduced to him by his life-long friend
and prominent car collector Dave Simon of Cornwell Sheridan, Gardena, California,
and my friend and passionate collector of luxury motorcars, airstreams and diners, Larry St. John,
Los Angeles, California.
